Hello and Welcome!  My name is Kristy and I am Licensed Professional Counselor with 7 years  experience as a counselor and over 10 years experience working with  teens, adults, and families. I have experience helping people struggling  with stress, anxiety, depression, OCD, family dynamics, ADHD &  executive function, trauma, motivation, and self confidence. I specialize in providing affirming and inclusive support through individual counseling and family counseling for the LGBTQ and neurodiverse communities. Our mission at North Star is to create a welcoming and safe space where clients can explore their  unique identities, experiences, and challenges without fear of judgment  or discrimination.

Our child and teen counseling services are designed to help young people overcome a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and more. Our therapists use evidence-based techniques to help children and teens develop coping skills, improve self-esteem, and achieve greater success in school and other areas of life. We provide both individual counseling and family counseling.

Family dynamics can be complex and challenging. Our family counseling services are here to help you navigate through the challenges and build stronger relationships. We work with families of all sizes and backgrounds to help them communicate better, resolve conflicts, and build stronger bonds.
